Who runs this website
Find Your Foot Care is a small independent UK directory and enquiry platform for mobile foot health practitioners. For any privacy or data protection questions, please email hello@findyourfootcare.co.uk.
What practitioner listing data we collect
When a practitioner submits a listing, we collect:
- Name and business name
- Contact details (email, phone, website, social links)
- Base location, areas covered and travel radius
- Practitioner type, training provider/qualification, professional body and membership/registration number
- DBS status and (where relevant) HCPC registration number
- Bio, services offered and availability
- Declarations confirming insurance, accuracy and acceptance of our terms
What public enquiry/callback data we collect
When a member of the public requests a callback, we collect:
- Name, phone and (optional) email
- Postcode
- Who the appointment is for and a short reason for the enquiry
- Preferred contact method and best time to contact
- Consent to share the enquiry with the selected practitioner
We ask people not to include detailed medical history in the enquiry form, and this website does not collect or hold a full medical history.
Why we collect this data
- To match postcode searches to practitioners who cover that area.
- To review, approve, edit or reject practitioner submissions before they go live.
- To pass callback enquiries to the practitioner the enquirer has chosen.
- To contact practitioners or enquirers about their listing or enquiry.
- To keep the site secure and reliable.
Sharing enquiry details with practitioners
When you submit a callback request, your enquiry details (name, contact details, postcode, reason and preferred contact method) may be shared with the practitioner you selected so they can contact you about mobile foot care. You confirm this by ticking the consent box on the enquiry form. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Published listings
Approved practitioner listings — including business name, contact details, bio, services and coverage areas — are shown publicly so that potential clients can find and contact you.
How long we keep data
- Public enquiry/callback data: kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for basic platform records. As a default we retain enquiries for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Practitioner listings: kept for as long as the listing is active. Rejected or withdrawn submissions are deleted within a reasonable period.
- Email correspondence: kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter you contacted us about.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request — or to ask us to remove a listing or an enquiry — please email hello@findyourfootcare.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only essential storage needed to operate (for example, a session token used on the admin page). We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics such as Google Analytics. If we introduce analytics in future, we will add a cookie notice and consent option, and analytics cookies will not load until you have agreed.
Security
We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the site and database, and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
