How listings are reviewed

Every practitioner submission is reviewed by a human before it appears in the directory. Our aim is to keep the listings trustworthy and useful for people looking for mobile foot care.

This review covers the information submitted for a directory listing only. We do not provide clinical supervision, medical advice, or guarantees of treatment quality. Any treatment or advice is provided directly by the independent practitioner, not by Find Your Foot Care.

What we ask for

  • Full name and business name (if any).
  • Contact details — email, phone and an optional website.
  • Qualifications and a short bio describing your experience.
  • Professional body and membership number (e.g. SMAE, BFHP, MAFHP) so we can verify standing with the relevant organisation.
  • Postcode areas you cover and your typical travel radius.
  • Whether you are currently accepting new clients.
  • Whether you have a current DBS check.
  • If you use the protected titles podiatrist or chiropodist, confirmation that you are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

What we check

  • That contact details look genuine and reachable.
  • That stated professional body membership can be confirmed with that body.
  • That anyone using the titles podiatrist or chiropodist appears on the public HCPC register — these titles are protected by law.
  • That the bio and services are clear, accurate and appropriate.

Outcomes

  • Approved: your listing goes live and appears in postcode searches that match your coverage.
  • More information needed: we'll email you with any questions.
  • Rejected: if we can't verify the details, or if the submission doesn't fit the directory, we'll let you know.

Keeping listings accurate

If your details, coverage area or new-client status change, please contact us and we'll update your listing.
